Part of the Disneyland experience is eating treats and snacks. We’ve compiled 30+ sweet, savory and frozen options available year round! There’s nothing more disappointing than seeing a photo of a treat and then come to find out it’s seasonal. So we decided to make a list of treats and snacks that you can find no matter when you go to Disneyland. Let’s start with 12 sweet snacks and then further below you’ll find lists of savory and frozen treats!
Sweet snacks found in both parks
One of the most famous must have treats at Disneyland is a churro. Over the years Disney has really stepped up their churro game offering so many different flavors. But I’m still a fan of the original churro found in both parks at the churro carts. This yummy classic treat is a must eat!
The now very famous Churro toffee is a heavenly piece of white chocolate covered toffee with cinnamon sugar found in many locations…
- Disneyland at Candy Palace on Main Street
- at Pooh’s Corner in Critter Country.
- Disney California Adventure at Trolley Treats
- at Bing Bong’s over on Pixar Pier
- Downtown Disney (no park ticket needed) at Marceline’s Confectionery
This treat makes the perfect take home item. Grab a few pieces to take home. They store easily and last a while if you don’t eat them before you get them home!
Another sweet treat found in both parks is the cream cheese filled pretzel. It’s the perfect combo! Find this treat…
- Disneyland at the pretzel carts
- Refreshment Corner on Main Street (mobile order)
- Disney California Adventure at Bayside Brews (mobile order)
Sweet snacks and treats at Disneyland
All of the above are found in both parks. Let’s move to park specific treats in Disneyland next. One of the best treats is the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery. This delightful treat has a raspberry-rose almond filling and fresh raspberries. Mobile order this treat in the morning because they do sell out of this treat on busy days! Find out more about the time savings tip – mobile ordering!
Also found at Jolly Holiday Bakery is the cutest Matterhorn Macaroon. Not to be confused with a macaron with only one “o” they are two different treats at Jolly Holiday. The Matterhorn Macaroon has more of a coconut flavor and it’s topped with white chocolate.Everything tastes better when it’s Mickey shaped, especially the famous beignets from The Mint Julep. This popular yummy treat is a must when visiting Disneyland. And because it’s so popular the line gets really long, so again my pro tip is to mobile order. Skip that long line! Guess what, if you’re at home craving a Mickey shaped beignet you can make them with this Disneyland beignet recipe!
Try the Grey Stuff it’s delicious! The treat made famous from Beauty and the Beast is found in Disneyland at the Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland. It has White Chocolate Mousse and Red Velvet Cake with a Raspberry Center. You can mobile order this treat too.
Classic funnel cake is found in two locations at Disneyland. Find it at the Hungry Bear and Stage Door Cafe. Both locations offer mobile order. Plus you can often find a seasonal flavor of funnel cake to try.
The cutest Alien macaron is found over in Tomorrowland at Alien Pizza Planet. This is a lemon macaron with a blackberry filling. This fan favorite also has a seasonal option at certain times of the year. And again you can mobile order this treat!
Sweet treats at Disney California Adventure
Now let’s hop over to Disney California Adventure for some more delicious treats. One of my favorite treats is over on Pixar Pier. You must get a Jack Jack Cookie Num Num. It’s served warm and it’s oh so good! Find it at the exit of the Incredicoaster. You don’t have to ride in order to grab this treat! When I’m craving one of these delicious cookies at home I make them using a recipe Disney Parks Blog shared years ago!
As of 11-2023 the Choco-Smash CANDY Bar has been replaced with the Choco Smash cake. Find this delighful treat in Avengers Campus at Pym’s Test Kitchen. It tastes just like the candy bar only in cake form with layers of Brownie, White Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache with Crunch Pearls, White Cake, Dark Chocolate Truffle Mousse, White Chocolate Caramel Bavarian Cream, coated in Chocolate Ganache and topped with Roasted Peanuts.Last but not least is this kind of top secret popcorn only found in Disney California Adventure. At the popcorn cart near Carthay Circle on Buena Vista Street you can get caramel popcorn. Nowhere else in the parks can you get caramel flavored popcorn. This is truly a SWEET treat!
Savory snacks and Frozen treats in both parks
These are just some of our favorite SWEET treats found year round. But if you’re anything like me you need to balance out the sweet with the SAVORY. My favorite savory snack is the Loaded Baked Potato from Troubadour Tavern in Fantasyland. For a list of 12 savory snacks hop on over to Mix in Some Magic.
