Homewood Suites Anaheim Resort-Convention Center hotel graciously hosted me while I was in Anaheim. I loved the opportunity to review another hotel close to Disneyland. My opinions and thoughts are my own based on my recent stay.

About the rooms
All 214 guest suites at Homewood Suites Anaheim have a full size kitchen, living room, spacious vanity area and a few different bedding options. Each suite has a separate living space and bedroom. There’s a full size sofa sleeper, chair, TV, dining table and chairs in each living room area. As well as a furnished kitchen with appliances… refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and dishes.
They offer a few different room types including a single king, 2 queens or family suites with bunkbeds. Each bedroom has a desk, chair, TV and dresser as well.
The bathroom is separate from the vanity area and includes a tub/shower combo. These suites are laid out nicely and very functional.
Breakfast included
Breakfast is complimentary. There is a large buffet area with many hot and cold choices. You can enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, muffins, yogurt and more. They also had waffles including a chocolate waffle batter, so good!
Evening Social
Homewood Suites brought back evening social again. On Wednesday nights 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. enjoy a variety of snack foods including fruit, salad, cheese, crackers, soup plus complimentary wine and beer selections.
Close to Disneyland
The Homewood Suites is conveniently located 1 mile from Disneyland, a short 15 minute walk. Another great option for transportation is using the buses that go back and forth from the Toy Story parking lot to Disneyland. The hotel is located next door to the Toy Story parking lot. You could walk over to the lot, hop on a bus and it will drop you off at Disneyland. And then at the end of your park day, hop back on the bus and it will take you back to the parking lot next door to the hotel.
Parking
If you have a car it’s just a short 5-7 minute drive to the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Guests with a vehicle pay a parking fee overnight of $28 per day. This price is not included in your rate per night.
Pool area and more
This hotel has a main pool, kiddie pool, small splash pad and hot tub. The pools are heated year round for your convenience. And during the summer months they have Dive-in movie nights. In addition there are BBQ’s outside that any guest can use to cook on. Plus enjoy the entertainment deck with a putting green and basketball sport court. Last but not least they also have an arcade room with lots of games next to the pool area, great fun for everyone!
More amenities
The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi for hotel guests. There is a fitness center on property too. In the lobby there is a small pantry area with snacks, soda, water, ice cream treats and some microwavable meals for purchase.
My review
My first impression when I walked into the room was wow how spacious, but more importantly how clean. Homewood Suites is a Hilton property and they have implemented a Clean Stay program in collaboration with Lysol. The door had a Clean Stay sticker seal that I broke when I entered the room. Read more about the Hilton Clean Stay program.
The hotel accommodates up to 6 guests per room. I think this hotel is especially perfect for larger families with plenty of room to spread out. Plus if a family is looking to save money they can utilize the in room kitchen to prepare meals rather than eat out. With the pools, arcade, basketball and putting green you could easily enjoy a rest day from the parks at this hotel. Another fun activity offered during the summer is Dive-in movies at night.
Another bonus at the Homewood Suites is the pebble ice machine available 24/7 for guests to fill their water bottles or whatever. I love this option!
Lastly I have to mention the fan in the bedroom portion. A ceiling fan was a nice added touch to the room. I loved this feature when I got back to the room in the late afternoon. I really enjoyed my stay at Homewood Suites Anaheim and would definitely recommend this hotel. My travel partner, Get Away Today, made all of the arrangements for my stay at this hotel.
