There’s a brand new beautiful hotel in Anaheim near Disneyland, the Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center. They invited me to come check out their new property located just a short 10 minute walk from Disneyland. Let me share with you the many reasons why I’d recommend staying here! Room options with queens or a king, plus bunk beds and a sofa bed. Kitchen or kitchenette in every room, lots of different choices and rooms that sleep up to 8 people! Let’s dive into more details below including a complete hotel/room tour at the end.

About the rooms
Element offers several room types. Each room has a modern feel with a full kitchen or kitchenette (depends on the size of the room), appliances, microwave, sofa sleeper bed, counter to sit and eat, TV and bathroom with a shower in every room. The brand new clean rooms are functional with lots of storage. Here are more details and photos of each room type.
Kid’s Suite with one king bed, sofa bed, bunk beds and kitchenette. (sleeps 6)
The set of bunk beds have some cool features. They are big beds, each bed has its own light and USB plug to use.
Kid’s Suite bathrooms are bright and clean. There is a shower only in these rooms.
In every kid’s suite type room there is a kitchenette with a microwave, dishes, fridge (not full size), small dishwasher and stovetop. Plus barstools and countertop space to eat at.
Kid’s Suite with 2 queen beds, sofa sleeper bed, bunk beds and kitchenette. (sleeps 8) The only difference in this kid’s suite and the one above is the bed types. You can either have 1 king or 2 queens. Both rooms have the kitchenette set up as seen below with the bunk beds and sofa sleeper couch.
One bedroom suite with 2 queens, sofa bed and full kitchen. (sleeps 6) Room has sliding door to separate the living room from the bedroom. Each room has a TV.
This room type also has a full kitchen with a full fridge, dishwasher, stovetop, microwave, dishes and lots of counter space and barstools.
Two queen studio room with 2 queen beds, sofa bed and kitchenette. (sleeps 6)
Below is the kitchenette in the studio room with a microwave, dishes, fridge (not full size), small dishwasher and stovetop. Plus barstools and countertop space to eat at.
Many of the room types offer an upgrade to theme park views as well. These rooms offer great views of the fireworks at night as well!
Close to Disneyland
The hotel is located on Clementine just one street east of Disneyland. The short 10 minute walk is very easy to the Harbor Blvd security location. At the end of a long day at Disneyland it’s nice to be back at the hotel so quickly. Another option is to use local transportation. There is an Anaheim Resort Transit bus stop located in front of the hotel as well. Below are views from my theme park view room. You can see how close Disney California Adventure is in the photo below.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included with your stay and served daily at the Element by Westin. There’s a big spread to choose from with many healthy and hot options included. There’s lots of seating in the dining room or you can also grab food to go. You can choose from scrambled eggs or egg whites, frittatas, sausage and/or turkey bacon. Plus healthier options like root vegetables and mixed vegetables (cooked). There’s even more to choose from like a crepe bar, bread, bagels, an oatmeal bar, cereal, scones (my personal favorite), fruit and yogurt. You’ll find something for everyone. Plus juice, milk and coffee as well. It’s the perfect way to start your park day.
Parking
Guests pay a $25.78 per day parking fee. But when you book your stay through Get Away Today your parking fee is $15 per day. Every bit of savings helps. Plus Get Away Today has a price match guarantee. I personally have been booking my hotel, tickets and vacations through them for over 15 years. Check pricing for Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center by Marriott here.
Pool
The Element has a heated pool with an outdoor area for BBQ that guests can use. It’s not a large pool and there’s no jacuzzi. But if you’re just looking for a quick refreshing dip in the pool they’ve got you covered.
More amenities
I’d like to point out a few amenities that I enjoyed at this hotel. Each room has filtered water from the kitchen faucet. Use the glass bottle in each room to fill up and have fresh, cold, filtered water at all times. Also enjoy free WiFi and the 24 hour fitness center. I must mention the beautiful lobby that smells so good! This chain is part of the Westin brand hotel so you know you’re getting top notch service, cleanliness and attention to detail.
My review
I have stayed at this location many times. Each time I love it more. Everything included with your stay makes this hotel a great value. I am impressed with the staff and their attention to detail. Breakfast each morning included with your room is such a great value. You must check out this new hotel in town! Two thumbs up for sure! I have a complete hotel tour where you can see the rooms, lobby, breakfast area, pool and more!
