Disney recently updated and rethemed this hotel. It used to be the Paradise Pier hotel. I stayed here and really love all the Pixar theming at the Pixar Place Hotel. The Disneyland Hotel is just up the street from Pixar Place Hotel, just west of Disneyland Park. From this hotel, select rooms may offer views of the park, as well as fireworks. The theming at Disney’s Grand Californian is woodsy, with a nod to California’s rich craftsman history. You’ll find Chip and Dale throughout the hotel, which is surrounded by towering pines. You won’t waste any time getting to and from the parks to your room for a quick break during the day.

Guests of all ages will love to see Disney Princesses up close and have a chance for photos and autographs. I love the Storytellers Cafe character experience at breakfast time. You’ll see Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale and Pluto dressed up in Safari outfits. The breakfast buffet is amazing.
