The Hyatt Place in Anaheim is located less than one mile from the Disneyland Resort and around the corner from the Anaheim Convention Center. The rooms are spacious with a sofa bed and extra space to relax at the end of a long day. The room was very clean too! Hyatt Place serves complimentary hot breakfast with a large variety of items. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place, let me tell you more!
Full disclosure I was invited to come stay at the Hyatt Place, but the thoughts and opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links which means I make a little something when you purchase through the link with no extra cost to you.
About the rooms
Hyatt Place offers two room types. Each room has your standard things like mini refrigerator, safe, TV, a coffee maker, bathtub/shower combo plus a sofa sleeper. The hotel has a standard room and a family suite with bunk beds.
The 2 Queen, Standard room sleeps up to 6 with a sofa sleeper. This room felt bigger than most hotel rooms. I loved the separation in spaces. See photos below of the room and bathroom area.
The other type room they have at the Hyatt Place is a 1 King family suite with a set of bunk beds plus sofa sleeper. This room sleeps up to 6. I love how this room has a door to shut off the king bed area and the bunk beds with sofa sleeper room. This is really helpful for families. Also the bunk beds are really sturdy. This room is perfect for families. See photo below.
Close to Disneyland
The hotel is located less than a mile from Disneyland. You can walk about 12 minutes up Harbor Blvd to Disneyland. Or you can walk up to the closest traffic light, cross the street and get a ride on one of the Toy Story Parking lot buses for free. See photo below how close Hyatt Place is to the Toy Story Parking lot. There is an Anaheim Regional Transit bus stop located in front of the hotel for your convenience as well. The Anaheim Convention Center is a short 5 minute walk from this hotel.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included with your stay. There is a wide variety of hot and cold items available each day. Hot items can vary from bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes and more. They have a oatmeal station, yogurt station, cold cereal, breads, muffins, bagels, fruit, milk, juices and coffee each day. I really enjoyed the variety of items to eat.
Parking
Self-parking is available for $28/day.
Pool
There is an outdoor pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy.
More amenities
Some of the other amenities that I’d like to point out at the hotel include free Wifi, an exercise room and a 24 hour gallery market with items for purchase. And if you need to print something they have a computer and printer in the lobby available to use for free.
My review
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place. The clean, spacious rooms were very comfortable. I liked the two separate spaces to lounge in. While it’s a bit of a walk to the parks, I really liked the ability to walk over to the Toy Story Parking lot and hop on a bus for free. The Hyatt Place is also within walking distance of several restaurants which made it convenient for meals. I would totally stay here again in the future!
