Hyatt House is located on Harbor Blvd, close walking distance to Disneyland with free hot breakfast. I’d recommend this hotel for many reasons. Last week I was invited to stay at this great location for the first time. I like to stay on the Harbor side within walking distance to the parks. Hyatt House has so much to offer guests and accommodates larger families plus has a full kitchen included. Let’s discuss further why I think you should consider this hotel for your next trip!

About the rooms
The clean rooms are modern and functional with lots of storage. The two most popular room types are the Queen Studio and Queen Suite. The Queen Studio has 2 Queen beds plus a Queen Sofa Bed. This room type sleeps 6 people has a divider that separates the living room from the beds. The kitchen includes a mini fridge, one stove top burner plus an island to sit and eat. You can prepare a meal in the room or warm up some leftovers. The large L-shaped sofa seats many and turns into a sofa bed at night. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and is very spacious.
The Queen Suite has 2 Queen beds plus a Queen Sofa Bed. Like the room type above it sleeps 6 and the 2 queen beds are in a separate room from the full size kitchen and sofa bed. The appliances in this kitchen are full size.
Close to Disneyland
The hotel is located on Harbor just down the street from Disneyland. The short walk down Harbor Blvd takes about 10-12 minutes and you’re at the gates of Disneyland. At the end of a long day in the parks t’s nice to be back at the hotel so quickly.
Breakfast
Hot breakfast is served daily at the Hyatt House. Located inside the lobby is the breakfast area where hotel guests can sit and eat. You can also grab some food and head out the doors to the parks if you prefer. Your choice of eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns is served by one of the hotel staff. There are other options like bread, bagels, cereal, muffins, fruit to add to your plate. They have juice, milk and coffee as well. This is a great way to start your park day off with a full tummy.
Parking
Guests pay a $28 per day parking fee.
Pool and jacuzzi
Located on the second floor, outdoors and with great views is the heated pool and jacuzzi. You will find lounge chairs to relax in along with a nice jacuzzi to dip into.
More amenities
The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi for hotel guests. Also on property downstairs is a Starbucks for all your favorite drink desires. There are several places to eat right there like Blaze Pizza and Yang’s.
And my favorite thing was the Walgreen’s located right there on the corner. I was able to get some park snacks, frozen dinners to eat in my room and stock up the fridge with some beverages during my stay. I liked having the convenience store so close.
My review
From the moment I walked into the Hyatt House I was comfortable. The friendly staff helped me with quick check-in. My room was clean and had everything I needed. Each morning I filled my tummy with breakfast food served at the hotel then came home each night to my nice bed. The convenience of walking to the park and free breakfast makes this hotel high on my recommended list.

The agents can see more rooms in their inventory. Or if the website says you need to add tickets to book just call the office. You don’t have to purchase tickets in order to get the discounted hotel rates. And remember if you’re booking a vacation package (tickets + hotel) use promo code DTG10 for an additional $10 off your vacation.
